The creative impulse of Outsmart are the company's 2 co-founders Darren Green and Mitch Olson.
Darren Green : Technical Director
With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Darren has extensive knowledge in all levels of software development; from systems architecture through to business management, across a diverse range of technical disciplines. Darren has held key positions in many of New Zealand's most innovative companies. These include COO of Virtual Spectator and CEO of Liquid Edge Games, an award winning 3D Internet games company. During his career Darren has also operated several other businesses whose activities range from building Enterprise Resource Planning systems, through to international business consulting.
Darren is responsible for overseeing the technical design of all our innovative solutions. His experience in developing leading-edge technology, within tight budgets and deadlines, is a key factor in our success.
Mitch Olson : Consulting Services Director
Mitch started his IT career 20 years ago working on IBM mainframes and was amongst the first developers to create commercial software running on Personal Computers. Since then he has worked in a wide variety of technical, managerial and consultative roles to small businesses, global conglomerates, and everything in-between, in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and the USA. Mitch is also a shareholder in a number of innovative technology companies in the eLearning and B2C eCommerce sectors.
Mitch brings a passionate eye for the possibilities of software technology together with a experienced understanding of its limitations. Mitch's primary responsibility in Outsmart is working with current and prospective clients and partners in exploring and refining the implementation of Rich Internet Application technology.
